Deadly Terror Attack Near Bruchin: On Their Way to the Delivery Room – Mother Murdered, Baby Delivered Alive

Late Wednesday night, terrorists opened fire on a vehicle traveling along Route 446 between Bruchin and Peduel. Inside the car was a young couple—on their way to the hospital to deliver their baby. The mother, approximately 30 years old and in advanced pregnancy, was critically wounded and rushed to Beilinson Hospital while CPR was being performed. Tragically, doctors later pronounced her dead.

In a desperate attempt to save a life, doctors performed an emergency delivery. Miraculously, the baby’s condition is currently stable. The husband was also injured and taken to the hospital.

 

ZAKA Sharon Region volunteers were stationed at the hospital, caring for the remains of the murdered woman and preserving evidence with dignity. Meanwhile, ZAKA Judea and Samaria Region volunteers secured the attack scene and collected findings to ensure proper burial in accordance with Jewish tradition.

 

Gil Bismuth, Commander of ZAKA Judea and Samaria Region, stated:
“This was a heartbreaking and devastating scene. A couple on their way to the delivery room – and the mother brutally murdered. Alongside ZAKA volunteers, we ensured proper care and respect for the deceased, preserving every trace for honorable burial.”
