Safed Honors ZAKA Northern District

In an emotional ceremony held at the Safed Cultural Center, Mayor Yossi Kakon presented a certificate of appreciation to the ZAKA Northern District organization. The certificate was given in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the community and their tireless dedication both during the "Iron Streets" war and in everyday life.

In an emotional ceremony held at the Safed Cultural Center, Mayor Yossi Kakon presented a certificate of appreciation to the ZAKA Northern District organization. The certificate was given in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the community and their tireless dedication both during the “Iron Streets” war and in everyday life.

The event, held as a salute to the rescue and security volunteers in the city, invited ZAKA volunteer in Safed, Moti Cohen, to receive the certificate on behalf of the organization.

Mayor Yossi Kakon praised the ZAKA volunteers and said: “ZAKA volunteers are true heroes who risk their lives to help others. Their work is essential to the community and serves as an example and inspiration.”
