What We Do

ZAKA Chesed Shel Emes volunteers are rigorously trained in the meticulous handling and identification of the deceased, whether following a traffic accident, terror attack, murder, suicide, or natural disaster. Acting under the authorization of the Israel Police, they collect blood and body parts at the scene to preserve the dignity of the departed. Their expertise spans forensic procedures, Jewish burial law, and the latest body-identification techniques—always ensuring the highest standards of respect and care.
